The new Cold Steel Recon 1 knife is made as durable and strong to be as effective as humanly possible. The 4 inch curved clip point blade of the Cold Steel knife is made of 440A stainless steel. The blade is also partially serrated for precision. There is also an Ultra Lock feature that will keep the Cold Steel blade positioned until its ready for use. The Cold Steel blade is a tough, black Teflon finish that won't scratch, eliminated glare and is superior in strength. The handle of the Cold Steel knife is also a thicker, black Zytel which has been massively reinfoced by heat treated steel liners and 5 locking bolts. Additionally, the Cold Steel knife features a small, strong pocket clip for use by both right and left-handed people.
