The Cold Steel Panga Machete is ideal for mostly utility work, but is known throughout much of Africa to conquer chopping trees and slashing. The Cold Steel blade is 16 Inches and created from 1055 carbon steel with an anti-rust solution baked on, then an anti rust black matte finish is enhanced for protection from severe weather and corrosion. The Cold Steel Bolo Machete weighs just over 19 ounces and is an excellent survival tool that can cut down a tree or open a coconut easily. The Cold Steel handle is also made from polypropylene which is resistant to chemicals. A black nylon sheath is sold seperately.
